I guess you can close this as it is unrelated to k3b. Or do I need to mark this as closed? Would it be an idea to add a checkbox to remove problematic characters like that? Of course, I don't have a clue which other characters might be problematic =(. Anyway, thank you for you time and effort, I will file a bugreport to the ntfs-3g guys.
