SUMMARY
Android KDE connect remote keyboard doesn't work properly when host PC uses
Russian keyboard layout.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
prerequisites:
Desktop linux has us (English US) and ru (Russian (DOS)) layouts installed,
android phone has English US and Russian keyboard layouts installed and uses
anysoftkeyboard
(https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.menny.android.anysoftkeyboard)
with English and Russian layouts.
1. switch keyboard layout to Russian on the host PC
2. start Remote input session in KDE connect android client
3. activate on-screen keyboard and switch keyboard layout to English
4. type some English characters
OBSERVED RESULT
Russian characters are typed on the host PC
EXPECTED RESULT
English characters should've been typed on the host PC
5. switch keyboard layout to Russian on android
6. type all Russian characters on the second row of the standard QWERTY/ЙЦУКЕНГ
layout (фывапролджэ)
EXPECTED RESULT
all characters are typed (фывапролджэ)
OBSERVED RESULT
4 middle characters are not typed (фывлджэ)
When host PC is in English layout there are no issues at all: keyboard layout
switching works fine and all characters can be typed in both layouts.
