Connecting to a new WiFi network
SUMMARY
When connecting to a new WiFi network using the Network Manager applet, after
clicking the "Connect" button and entering a password, this WiFi network
disappears from the list of available networks and the "Active Connections"
section isn't displayed until I reopen the applet.
OBSERVED RESULT
The "Active Connections" section isn't displayed

The "Active Connections" section is displayed
