Bug ID: 418408 Summary: For multiple selected images Tag Manager doesn't differentiate a tag if only on some of the images Product: digikam Version: 6.4.0 Platform: MS Windows OS: MS Windows Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: Tags-Keywords Assignee: digikam-bugs-n...@kde.org Reporter: sherida...@gmail.com Target Milestone: --- SUMMARY If you select a number of photos and display the assigned tags using the tag manager the assigned tags all show as ticked. But some images may not actually contain the ticked images and hence it is not possible to be sure that if all the photos should have the tag that they actually do. If the manager showed a tick if all photos have the tag and be greyed out (for example) if only some of the photos do then it would simplify ensuring the correctness of tags for multiple images that should all be tagged the same. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. assign two tags to two photos 2. assign a third tag to only one of the photos 3. select the two photos 4. In tag manager single click the "tags already assigned' button on bottom left. 5. Note that all three tags are shown and all three are ticked but as you know the 3rd tag is only assigned to one of the two photos. OBSERVED RESULT all tags assigned are shown with a tick EXPECTED RESULT Desired result is that tags assigned to all the selected photos are ticked. Tags assigned to only some of the selected photos are greyed out or some other method is used to show that only some of the selected photos have this tag assigned SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Windows: 10 macOS: Linux/KDE Plasma: (available in About System) KDE Plasma Version: KDE Frameworks Version: Qt Version: ADDITIONAL INFORMATION -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
