Since Discover can also uninstall software, this is a valid wish.

Additionally, if it needs 30 minutes to "discover" that there is no connection,
then there is a bug that needs to be fixed. General network timeouts are
configurable in System Settings. If it cannot respect those, it could default
to a timeout of 2 minutes.
