If you have actually entered your user directory and not into a digikam
subfolder, this behavior can be explained. I don't know if we could intercept
this path, otherwise it would have to be reported to the installer as a bug.

Gilles, we specify "C:\Program Files\digikam" as the directory. Is it possible
to specify only "C:\Program Files" and we always add the "digikam" subfolder?
Then the problem can no longer occur.
