This bug resulted from the processing of some command line options not waiting
until calendars had become available. This caused failures such as the one you
reported.
The bug is now fixed by commit 9d0308396a74e64dbbd67a7b162f0d025c16123f, for
KAlarm version 2.13.3, which will be released as part of KDE Applications
19.12.3.
