SUMMARY
It's currently not possible to make the result of a measurement "stick" as you
switch to other tools, making it difficult to use it correctly. Ideally it
would behave somewhat like other assistants, creating a real object that can be
moved, deleted, etc.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Use measure tool to measure something.
2. Select the brush tool.
OBSERVED RESULT
Measurement result is gone, can't refer to the result while painting.
EXPECTED RESULT
Some way to make the result stick while continuing to paint.

Krita 4.2.8, manual backport.
