Broken font rendering in Thunderbird where lower parts of long letters are cut.

SUMMARY
Since the new automated GTK Theme / Font adoption, those are no longer
displayed correctly in GTK applications like Thunderbird.
This has been already introduced with the latest release of the 5.17 series.
But there I was able to workaround by manually changing the fonts for GTK
application to match the ones used in KDE (Which is Noto Sans 10 in my case).

Now, as I am not able to change the font settings anymore, Thunderbird cuts the
lower part of the letters like ā€˜g’ or ā€˜y’ in message lists and unveils them
when you hover an entry with the mouse, which leads to continuous screen
flickering
