I also encountered this when adding:
skip -gfi /usr/include/*
skip -gfi /usr/include/*/*
skip -gfi /usr/include/*/*/*
skip -gfi /usr/include/*/*/*/*
to .gdbinit. Seems that anything making output in .gdbinit makes this test fail
which is annoying.
