Hi,
thanks for the comment and indeed, I should have checked newer versions.
I have used Ubuntu default installed version (19.08.2), which shows this bug.
The version you have pointed to (19.12) needs separate installation but is
working correctly! All transform & wipe / dissolve effects are rendered
CORRECTLY.
I'll change to resolved / fixed. Thank you again and have a great new year.
