SUMMARY
Once you have created the template you need in your home directory, create a
new related file using dolphin, and the contents of the file are replaced with
dolphin's default content, such as a desktop file
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. make a demo.desktop file in /home/template
2. write lines in the file:
[Desktop Entry]
Name=xx
Comment=xx
Exec=xx
Icon=xx
Terminal=false
Type=Application
3. create new xx file in other location
4. open the new file, you'll find a different file content from template

a different content with template

a same content with template
