Bug ID: 415156 Summary: Support configuration of gaming mice via libratbag as a KCM in the systemsettings Product: systemsettings Version: unspecified Platform: Other OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: wishlist Priority: NOR Component: kcm_mouse Assignee: unassigned-b...@kde.org Reporter: pos...@posteo.eu CC: unassigned-b...@kde.org Target Milestone: --- SUMMARY There's a really interesting library libratbag [1] to configure modern gaming mices. It would be very convenient if Plasma could support it and expose a graphical KCM like "piper" [2] does as a standalone application. [1] https://github.com/libratbag/libratbag "libratbag provides ratbagd, a DBus daemon to configure gaming mice. The daemon provides a generic way to access the various features exposed by these mice and abstracts away hardware-specific and kernel-specific quirks. libratbag currently supports devices from Logitech, Etekcity, GSkill, Roccat, Steelseries. See the device files for a complete list of supported devices. Users interact through a GUI like Piper." [2] https://github.com/libratbag/piper/ "Piper is a GTK+ application to configure gaming mice. Piper is merely a graphical frontend to the ratbagd DBus daemon" -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
