SUMMARY
Usually there is some kind of menu bar for programs... or if it is hidden by
default then clicking or holding down Alt key will reveal it. There is NONE for
Kate :-(
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Look for menu bar for Kate...
1.1. fail to see one by default
2. press Alt
2.1. Observe nothing happening.
OBSERVED RESULT
No menu bar anywhere ever.
EXPECTED RESULT
Visible menu bar with File, Edit, View, Settings, Help, etc. somewhere.
