Assume you have several videos/slides/titles which extends to about 1 hour. Then you decide that you want to remove one minute somewhere in the middle. You can do this no problem. The removing is not the issue. The question is this - now you are left with a one-minute gap in the timeline. It would be nice once you delete the one minute, everything that comes after the clip, will move up to close the gap. Since this does not work, now I have to manually move each little video clip/title separately. Very time consuming - there must be a better way. Does that make sense?
