I'm also having this problem. I was unable to get through the login step in
drkonqi until I enabled the KDE Wallet. When Wallet wasn't enabled, drkonqi
crashed on that screen, even though the checkbox to use Wallet was not checked.
Since I don't use the Wallet for anything else and I usually keep it turned
off, it would be nice if we could report bugs without having to enable it.
