Video showing the buggy behavior

SUMMARY
My calendars are synced through opwncloud. I configured the digital clock
plasmoid to show them in the calendar popup.
When there are events in the present day, they are not listed on the popup
calendar, until I click to a different day, then click again on the present
day.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Configure the digital clock to show PIM events.
2. Create an event on the present day with korganizer
3. Restart plasma shell with plasmashell --replace
4. Click on the digital clock to open the calendar popup

OBSERVED RESULT
You'll the the mark on today indicating that there's and event, but you won't
see that event listed on the left side of the popup.
Click to another day, then click again to the present day and the event will be
listed.

EXPECTED RESULT
Today's events should be listed as soon as you open the calendar popup
