There are multiple ways to get to the configuration screen in Plasma 18.0 when
you have all items always shown:
- Right-click on the pixel abutting the screen edge > Click the "Configure"
context menu item
- Enter global edit mode, click on the panel toolbox button (the two sliders
icon that used to be always visible) > click on or hover over the systray
widget > click "Configure...
