So I reinstalled it via flatpak (flatpak install flathub de.haeckerfelix.gradio). I am no longer having the issue. But it seems there are two flatpaks available in flathub: stable and 7.3 (stable), but released at the same time on the same date. This time flatpak installed "stable" (which is also v7.3), and last time it installed "7.3 stable", though I used the same command both times. It seems the issue is with Gradio and Flathub and naming and not Discover. I hope I didn't waste too much of your time.
