I had the same idea and recently submitted a related patch to remove these
titles by default: https://phabricator.kde.org/D22884
However in the ensuing discussion, we decided not to do it for various reasons
(see the discussion there for details).
The good news is that the requested functionality to optionally hide the title
is already available: KPageWidget allows you to set `headerVisible(false)` and
it will hide the title for any page where it is deemed redundant or a waste of
space.
