This is not a bug, it depends on how you saved a image. If you did not use
versioning before, all edited images will be a new branch, just like the BQM is
used. An original image is hidden only if "Save changes" is used in the image
editor. The option "Save as new image" creates a new branch and the original
image is not hidden.
