SUMMARY
The Import window causes digiKam to hang in macOS. When opened, digiKam appears
to be scanning the entire hard drive for photos, but hangs for over 10 minutes
before I killed the application process. During that time, no application
buttons (including the close button on the Import window) are responsive.
macOS's Force Quit window (Command + Option + Esc) shows that digKam is not
responding.


STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open digiKam.
2. Open the Import window.

OBSERVED RESULT
digiKam hangs for at least 10 minutes.

EXPECTED RESULT
digiKam should remain responsive while scanning for images.
