In my company each person who can use network has his own personal credentials username and password. If I try to set an automatic connection with networkmanager that ask username and password at login it result impossible. Is it possible to set a connection with a username and set the connection to "ask for this password every time" but not "ask for this useername every time". There should be possible to do this becouse in my usercase it is mandatory to connect to network with own username and password. The laptops are for general use dedicated to some instruments and have many users that use a standard login with common password and to connect to network they use theyr own credentials username and password STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. open network connection>MY_wireless>general configuration tab, connect automatically with priority is checked, >WIFi security tab, password is empty, ask for this password every time is checked, remove username, click OK 2. reopen network connection>MY_wireless>g>WIFi security tab, password is empty, ask for this password every time is checked, username il always there 3. OBSERVED RESULT at login a popup ask only for password EXPECTED RESULT at login a popup ask for username and password there should be a similar setting as for the password "ask for this password every time" also for the username "ask for this useername every time" SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Linux/KDE Plasma: leap 15.1 KDE Plasma Version: 5.16.90 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.62.0 Qt Version: ADDITIONAL INFORMATION -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
