DigiKam will try to automatically reconnect to the database". When I exit out of the message, DigiKam looks like it's loading to open up but it never actually opens. I'm using macOS High Sierra 10.13.6. I downloaded DigiKam with the option"Download file from preferred mirror" on the Mac download page. Advice I've found online is hard to follow for me...
