--- Comment #25 from TheBeheader <ss2635...@gmail.com> --- o.k. long story short i just bumped my threads on both linuxquestions and the kubuntu forums and got my issue resolved. barfly prompted me to recheck pulse audio. on the playback tab system sounds were disabled. somehow i messed that tab in previous attempts to fix the issue. after enabling the sounds there i launched thunderbird to see if i'd get the notification sound for new mail and i did. this may not be a fix for all with the issue but worth at least look. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
