My workstation has Tumbleweed... but it had became increasingly slow (in a matter of a few months). I've taken the time to hammer down from where the problem came from and the only logical explanation i could found was some old configuration in conflict with a new one as a result of the upgrades. So... i, once again, in the lack of a way to reset plasma settings, and since creating a new profile did solved the problem, i tried to migrate everything from the old profile to a new one and then switch the profile names. Long story short: It/I screwed up my desktop in such a way that the only possible solution was to backup my data to an external drive with a USBboot drive and format the computer.
