--- Comment #11 from Steve Allewell <steve.allew...@gmail.com> ---
Hi Debbie

I have built a virtual machine, installing Manjaro-xfce-18.0.4-x86_64
I also installed all packages from the kf5 and qt5 groups using the package
manager, this gives kde-5.60.0 and qt-5.13.0.

I compiled and installed the kxstitch 2.2.0 package from kde, and everything
works as expected.

The command 'qtpaths --install-prefix' returns /usr as expected and kxstitch
was installed to /usr/bin/ and /usr/share/

I think that something in your installation is broken, either when installing
the kxstitch package or the flatpak, or maybe even previous to that.

Try the 'qtpaths --install-prefix' on yours and see if it returns /usr or an
empty value.

Since you are only using kxstitch which uses qt and kde, it would be worth
uninstalling anything qt and kde related and then reinstall the qt5 and kf5
package groups, then try again.

Regarding /bin, that should be a link to /usr/bin
Regarding /share, I don't see that in the installation I have. If you check
what is in it, if there is only the kxstitch stuff, it would probably be safe
to delete it so that /share no longer exists in the root directory. There
should only be /usr/share/.

Beyond that, I'm not sure what else to suggest. However it would be worth
prompting the maintainer of the Arch KXStitch package to update it to 2.2.0

Let me know how you get on.

Steve
