Plasmashell proces grows in CPU usage when there is anything "animated" in the system tray - for instance a Connecting state (I have a problem when ethernet is constantly trying to connect even with the cable out so the icon is still moving - after minutes, the enviroment becomes unusable), skype connection (spinning the arrows), or notification. I have also observed using htop, that the loads usually starts at 10 - 15 % on all cores per moving icon and grows up to 80 - 100% per core, at which point the desktop is not usable any more. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
