Okay, turned out the problem is fixed on master. Somehow, I missed that my
local konsole binary was from master, not from the package, which made me think
it was distro update that fixed it. Apparently I moved built konsole into
/usr/bin after a fix I sent a week ago, so I could immediately use it.
