--- Comment #3 from garystripl...@yahoo.com --- I purged the Nvidia kernel module rebooted the system and now have a 1024x768 resolution. I reinstalled several different release versions of NVidia and get the original black screen plasmashell error results. Running the KDE Driver Manager, it just stalls at "Collecting information about your system".
