SUMMARY
I can't reproduce this behavior if system language is english.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. open system settings > desktop behavior > virtual desktops
2. set 2 rows, 4 virtual desktops, click "Apply" button
3. add Pager widget to your panel
4. set system language to pt-br
5. relogin
6. right click on Pager widget, select "Configurar áreas de trabalho
virtuais..."
OBSERVED RESULT
As we see in the attached screen recording,
the area that lists virtual desktops shrinks a few miliseconds after opening.
EXPECTED RESULT
Area that lists virtual desktops always has the same size.
