That proves that the Windows 7 display driver for your system  is buggy. Have
you checked whether there's an update available for it?

Security and a Malware scan with Malwarebytes (free) and neither scan found any
problems."

You really should update to a modern version of Windows that comes with Windows
Defender and ditch these know bad virus scanners. See

I'm closing this report since it's clear it's a bug in the display driver, not
in Krita.
