            Bug ID: 410453
Summary: Indicate which tasks belong to which desktops when
                    sorting by desktop
           Product: plasmashell
           Version: 5.16.3
          Platform: Manjaro
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: Task Manager
          Assignee: h...@kde.org
          Reporter: nortex...@gmail.com
                CC: plasma-b...@kde.org
  Target Milestone: 1.0

When sorting tasks by desktop and not filtering by desktop, it can be very
difficult to determine which task is on which desktop, which can make it
difficult to figure out which window you want to select. E.g., I have a bunch
of pdfs open on various desktops, but since their window names are not
memorable (e.g. 2039483.pdf), it would be of immense help to know which desktop
their on, because I remember which pdfs I have open on which desktops.

One idea would be to have windows assigned to one desktop divided by a
separator from those assigned to adjacent desktops. Another would be to assign
different background colors to different desktops. Another, which I prefer
least, would be to group windows from the same desktop so, e.g., if one has
windows open on six different desktops, the task manager will show at most six
different entries.
