Bug ID: 410282 Summary: Crash when clearing unused tags in the Tag Manager tool. Product: digikam Version: 6.2.0 Platform: Appimage OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: Tags-Manager Assignee: digikam-bugs-n...@kde.org Reporter: iwannaber...@gmail.com Target Milestone: --- Created attachment 121777 --> https://bugs.kde.org/attachment.cgi?id=121777&action=edit Backtrace of the crash SUMMARY It happens quite often, but not always. Sometimes when clearing unused tags using the Tag Manager tool, digikam freezes and needs to be force closed. In the last case I saw, it had to clear 7 unused tags. The tags are successfully cleared, though. I was running digikam in debug mode, so I could capture the error and get the backtrace. See attached text file. I hope it helps. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Make sure there are some unused tags in the tag list (with a 0 next to it). 2. Open the Tag manager tool. 3. Click on Organize, Delete unassigned tags. OBSERVED RESULT Digikam freezes. EXPECTED RESULT A popup saying how many tags have been cleared should appear. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS digikam-6.2.0-git-20190722T062931-qtwebkit-x86-64.appimage in Ubuntu 18.04 LTS with Gnome. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
