Login OBSERVED RESULT KCrash: Attempting to start /usr/bin/plasmashell from kdeinit KCrash: Application 'plasmashell' crashing... KCrash: Attempting to start /usr/lib64/libexec/drkonqi from kdeinit Missing separate debuginfo for /usr/bin/plasmashell Try: zypper install -C "debuginfo(build-id)=ad29c16bbfda5ddc4b8befc2efeef645479b1da3" Missing separate debuginfo for /usr/lib64/libKF5PlasmaQuick.so.5 Try: zypper install -C "debuginfo(build-id)=cf7f205bda4e3edb646020e53f0c5dbae615e71c" Missing separate debuginfo for /usr/lib64/libQt5Script.so.5 EXPECTED RESULT No crash. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Linux/KDE Plasma: openSUSE Leap 15.1 KDE Plasma Version: 5.12.8 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.55.0 Qt Version: 5.9.7 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Finally, DrKonqi popped up after the crash. Trying to add the debug packages via DrKonqi didn't work - root password couldn't be decoded . . . Added the debug packages by using the output of "gdb /usr/bin/plasmashell <PID>". DrKonqi still couldn't find enough symbols for a useful crash dump. Maybe I'll have better luck next time. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
