Setting alternate invocation to
Mouse Button to Meta + left click to Pick color.
The cursor changes to the color picker on pressing meta, but upon mouse
clicking color is not selected, the cursor just dissapears and painting is
impossible.
Even if no action is set, meta + click blocks mouse input
