            Bug ID: 409274
Summary: "Save" doesn't add default file extension
           Product: kdenlive
           Version: 17.12.3
          Platform: Ubuntu Packages
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: minor
          Priority: NOR
         Component: User Interface
          Assignee: j...@kdenlive.org
          Reporter: ch...@juengling-edv.de
  Target Milestone: ---

The "Save" button on the DVD Wizard dialog (used to save the current DVD
configuration to a file) prompts for a folder and a file name, but doesn't add
the default file extension ".kdvd" automatically. So, if I give just "test" as
the file name, the file ends up being saved as "test", which then cannot be
opend by "Load" because of its fixed file filter setting.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Start kdenlive, invoke "File -> DVD Wizard"
2. Press "Save" button on the lower left of this dialog
3. Set "test" as the file name (no quotes, no trailing dot) and click "Save"
4. Press "Load" button on the lower left of this dialog
5. Try to find the file you already saved

OBSERVED RESULT

1. During save, the file extension is not added to the file name.
2. During open, the file can not be found in the list.
3. During open, the file filter cannot be changed from "DVD project" to e.g.
"all files"

EXPECTED RESULT

The saved file shall consist of the default file extension ".kdvd", if not
otherwise defined.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Linux: Ubuntu 18.04.2 LTS
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.44.0
Qt Version: 5.9.5 (kompiliert gegen 5.9.5)
