I think you need to run the 'portable' .zip version with the debug package unzipped into it to get the crash log? For me, Ctrl+Space and Space+Ctrl work fine for mouse/stylus zooming with the magnifying glass icon showing. If I do Ctrl first, the colour picker icon comes up first.
