If I take a screenshot of a rectangular region, the resulting screenshot is a
transparent image. If I export the screenshot to any program, I get a
transparent rectangle. If I save image, I get a transparent image. If I copy
the image to clipboard, I'll only paste a transparent rectangle (same with
drag&drop).
Interestingly enough, while dragging the image from spectacle to anywhere else,
the screenshot WILL be the correct image. It'll only be a transparent square
once it's in the clipboard/another program.
URL offers a quick demonstration. You can see the outline of the transparent
image in the gmail window.
The problem happens when using rectangular region ONLY. Full screenshot works
fine. Window works fine.
Problem didn't seem to happen earlier than 16.xx
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Take a screenshot of a rectangular region
2. Try to export the screenshot or copy it to clipboard
Actual Results:
Screenshot isn't saved/copied/exported. Instead of the screenshot, I get a
transparent image with the same dimensions as the screenshot.
Expected Results:
The screenshot is saved, copied to clipboard or exported to my program of
choice.
