--- Comment #3 from Evert Vorster <evert.vors...@yandex.com> ---
Hi there...

Wow, 15.12.2 was a couple of months ago. There has been a few changes since
then.

Anyways, to get to the movit enable/disable:
Click on the "settings" tab
Click on "Configure Kdenlive"
Click on "Playback"
Make sure that the check box for "Use GPU processing(Movit library)" is
un-ticked.

It probably is, but this would be the first thing to check.

Kdenlive runs better in KDE... if you want to try a distro just for kdenlive,
try Kubuntu, or another distro that uses the KDE desktop.
It may very well be that you are missing a required library. I don't know how
things work in Fedora, but if you can contact the maintainer of the kdenlive
package he/she might be able to help you as well as anyone here.

I personally use Arch, but it's a little bit of a learning curve to get it
installed. It's a pretty powerful distro. But the manuals are good, and you get
the kdenlive-git package that I maintain in the AUR for free.
