As the title suggests, in my KDE Neon installation, clicking on "device" and
trying to select "SMART status", the option is grayed-out.
I even installed the package "smartmomtools", since I read that was the new
SMART backend for PM (the package was not installed on the Partitionmanager's
update to 4.0), but after installation it is still not available.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open KDE Partition Manager
2. Select a device
3. Attempt to see SMART status
OBSERVED RESULT
SMART status is grayed-out
EXPECTED RESULT
SMART status works as expected
