Globally, in LR, you need to write all image properties in XMP sidecar files. digiKam cannot parse the LR database which is a closed format. XMP sidecar is normalized and well documented. It's used for interoperability between photo applications. In digiKam, check well the Setup/metadata configuration panel to use XMP sidecar. Create a new root collection based on your path where images managed by LR are stored. When scan of items is done (this can take a while), you must to see appear all tags, labels, comments, etc from LR in digiKam items properties. I recommend to make test first, on small collection, and to process step by step. Scanning items and populate the database is a long stage.
