Bug ID: 361972 Summary: Windows 7 Explorer window does not update in decrypted directories Product: kleopatra Version: 2.2.0 Platform: MS Windows OS: MS Windows Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: general Assignee: aheine...@intevation.de Reporter: jim.ad...@uah.edu CC: kdepim-b...@kde.org, m...@kde.org First I receive a encrypted directory (with subdirectories under it) and decrypt it, then store it on my hard drive. Now I open this directory in Windows Explorer and go to a subdirectory under it. Next I delete a file from this subdirectory. Windows Explorer does not update showing the file deleted. If I refresh the window by going up one subdirectory and then back down to the subdirectory where I deleted the file, it is gone. This only happens in directory structures previously encrypted using Kleopatra and then decrypted. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. receive a directory structure that was encrypted with Kleopatra from a colleague 2. decrypt it, then store the decrypted file structure on my hard drive 3. Open a subdirectory in this file structure using Windows Explorer 4. delete an existing file 5. The Windows Explorer Window does not update showing that the file was deleted. 6. Force an update and then the deleted file is no longer displayed Actual Results: It is really hard to show actual results. I just delete a file and it does not disappear from Windows Explorer Expected Results: When I delete a file from a Windows Explorer window displaying a subdirectory that was never encrypted, the file vanishes from Windows Explorer as it should. But not if it is a subdirectory that was previously encrypted by Kleopatra. I suppose it will be easy to reproduce this on a computer running Windows 7. My computer is running Windows 7 Professional, Service Pack 1 -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
