On your win10 PC, can you try from a terminal (win+r -> type “cmd”): melt.exe your_audio_file.mp3 -consumer sdl2_audio. Or with path if you have installed Kdenlive and the file is on the desktop: "C:\Program Files\kdenlive\bin\melt.exe" "c:\users\YourUserName\desktop\Audio_MP3_audio-ed-fade-none.mp3" -consumer sdl2_audio .
