SUMMARY
While I've been on ‘kde 5’ for a long time now, I still have a .kde4 directory
in my home directory. The reason is that the file .kde4/share/config/kdeglobals
is being recreated even if you delete it. There already is .config/kdeglobals.
When I compare both files, it is clear that .kde4/share/config/kdeglobals is a
slimmed-down version of .config/kdeglobals.
OBSERVED RESULT
.kde4/share/config/kdeglobals is recreated
EXPECTED RESULT
.kde4/share/config/kdeglobals is not recreated
