I'll try to hack the x11 library, avoiding the offending recursive _XReply().. will see what will be the result. I'll also open a bug against the libx11 afterwards. And yes, it could be arm-specific problem as well.. maybe code isn't properly portable in some place. Wayland isn't an option because there is no proper 3d driver for the device, it's a relatively old hardware.
