            Bug ID: 405524
Summary: KDevelop : git/commit does not immediately respect the
user-selection of file to be committed
           Product: kdevplatform
           Version: 5.3.1
          Platform: Other
                OS: All
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: git
          Assignee: kdevelop-bugs-n...@kde.org
          Reporter: rjvber...@gmail.com
  Target Milestone: ---

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Invoke git/commit on a directory with multiple modified files
2. untick one or more of the entries in the modified-files list in the toolview
that opens
3. click Commit

OBSERVED RESULT
KDevelop proposes to commit the entire original selection of modified files.
Click cancel, and it will propose to commit the user selection.

EXPECTED RESULT
KDevelop should propose the user selection at once, and not second-guess the
user.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
This has been an issue since at least 4.7 . I'm not entirely certain that it
happens all the time.
