Yeah, I don't find it particularly easy to see what's running, and that information is much more important to me than knowing what's minimized. And that is with the glow (the background layer). Once there's an option to disable the glow and someone disables it, there will be only a very small border around the icon. It'll be even harder to notice. One thing to note is that the area in the screenshot is a small part of the 2560x1440 screen.
