Latte gives to the task icons exactly the size that has been set from the user in pixels. BUT for applets this is not granted. Applets are not designed to be rectangular only few of them are. Most of applets have their own demands in needed space. What Latte is doing is: 1. Latte tries to give them width equal to the iconSize 2. the Applets respond what space they need in order to be shown correctly. 3.
