This would also avoid confusion when some sources finish checking before
others. On slow connections it may take several minutes to fetch a large
package list. On my system, for instance, flatpak will finish checking first
and then apt several minutes later – so the flatpak updates are displayed but
the "Update all" button greyed out. Of course Discover's still checking for
updates, but it looks as though it finished.
